Can I return my item?

As all products are handmade, and mainly for babies and small children, unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or exchanges. Please read our Returns & Refunds Policy for more information. 

If you have any questions, please contact me via the Get In Touch page before you make your purchase and we can answer any questions you may have on size, materials, colours etc

My order looks slightly different from the picture, why is this? 

Quality assurance and controls for mass-production ensures that all products look identical when sold. However, with handcrafted products, no two items will look exactly the same. Whilst overall all of the items here will look the same, there may be small nuances where they differ slightly, making them all unique in their own way! 

Another thing to be aware of is that dye batches can sometimes alter the tone and shade of a specific yarn. During the dyeing process, specific formulas or recipes are used to make sure that the tone and shade is the same every time. However, every dye batch is affected by a variety of different factors which can impact the overall tone/shade.

Whilst every effort will be made to use yarn from the same dye lot, this can sometimes mean that your item differs slightly from the product photos you see here even though the same shade of yarn has been used. I have ordered a made to order item, can I cancel my item?

If you have ordered a made to order item, you will have a 24-hour cancellation period in which to cancel your order. You can do so by contacting us via the Get In Touch page with your name and order number.

Once we have received your cancellation request and if it is within the 24-hour cancellation period, we will offer you a full refund. After this cancellation period, unfortunately we cannot cancel your order. 

I have ordered a toy and the delivery time is between 3-4 weeks. Can this be sooner? 

All made to order items are handmade by myself and as a one-woman small business the current turnaround times are

  • Ready to Ship: 1-3 business days
  • Made to Order: 1-3 weeks

What is OEKO-TEX Standard 100?

The Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX is globally recognised as standing for customer confidence and high product safety. The Standard 100 label certifies that every component of the article, including threads, has been tested for harmful substances and is harmless for human health. Standard 100 Product Class One adheres to the strictest requirements for products for babies.
 
All yarn used for items handmade by Yarnie & Hook carry the Standard 100 (Product Class 1) label by OEKO-TEX, so you can be certain that they are safe for your little ones.

I would like to have my order gift wrapped. Do you offer this service? 

We don't currently offer a gift wrap option however all orders will come packaged in a recycled, eco-friendly kraft box with the Y&H logo and recycled tissue paper wrapping. 

Do you take custom orders?

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately due to Brexit, we only ship to addresses within the UK.
